Trinity Mirror announces new digital structure to accelerate revenue growth

Trinity Mirror is making two new senior appointments to its National and Regional digital teams with the goal of accelerating digital revenue growth.

A new digital business unit is being established within the Nationals division which will be headed up by a new, to be appointed, Managing Director. The unit will ensure the business has a total focus on developing new and existing digital products and services. The Managing Director will report to Mark Hollinshead, MD of the Nationals division. One of the key reports to the new Nationals Digital MD will be Matt Kelly who is promoted to Publisher of the digital unit.

Dave Raywood, currently Marketing Director at MEN Media, is appointed Digital Commercial Director of the Regionals division with a brief to accelerate delivery of the division’s digital plans. Dave Raywood will report to Sara Wilde-McKeown, Commercial Director of Trinity Mirror Regionals.

As a result of this new structure the role of Group Director of Digital Publishing becomes redundant and today the company has entered into consultation with David Black.
