Arson attack at Jarrow home

Police are appealing for witnesses following an arson attack at a Jarrow home.
Officers attended Friar Way, Jarrow, at 4.25am today, Saturday, November 15, following reports of a fire.
No-one was injured as a result of the incident, however the fire caused damage to the living room at the property. Police are now investigating the cause of the fire which is believed to have been started deliberately.
