Police are appealing for information following a robbery in South Tyneside. The incident happened between 5.15pm and 5.40pm on Monday, March 23, in Coulthard Park, Cleadon. A 14-year-old boy was in the park with a friend when he was approached by a group of four to five men. The teenager was threatened and had his mountain bike stolen before the group made off. The victim was shaken but uninjured as a result of the incident. Anyone who witnessed or who has any information on the incident is asked to contact South Tyneside CID on 03456 043 043 or the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
