Police are appealing for witnesses following a theft of metal from a business site in North Shields.
The incident happened at Northumbria Water, Northumberland Dock Road in North Shields between 9pm on Monday, November 21, and 9pm on Friday, December 2.
Staff reported that three large stainless steel locating conces and one stainless steel lower nozzle locating assembly component had been stolen from palettes within the site valued at £13, 839.
Detective Inspector Neil Brotherton, of North Tyneside CID said: "These large items will have taken some time to remove and load up into a vehicle to drive away.
"We're asking for anyone who may have seen people acting suspiciously in the area or who has seen strange vehicles in the area to contact police. Also anyone who may have seen these unusual items being driven around, or who has been offered them for sale to get in touch."
Police are appealing for witnesses anyone who was in the area and who may have seen or heard anything suspicious is asked to contact police.
