Police are appealing for information after lead was taken from a church roof in Bedlington.
At around 2.30am on Tuesday, March 2, thieves have got onto the roof of the St Cuthberts church, Church Lane, Bedlington, and stolen lead valued at £3500.
Witnesses reported seeing three men in the area of the church, loading bags into a small silver hatchback car around the time the incident took place. One of the men was believed to be wearing a high visibility jacket.
