Police in Gateshead are appealing for information after the theft of a JCB.
Between 5.30pm and 6.30pm on Thursday, April 29 someone has broken the gate lock and entered the premises of AA Construction North East Ltd on Stoneygate Close, Felling and stolen a JCB digger with the registration plate of X169 NUM.
Officers believe the person or people responsible drove off in the digger turning onto Abbotsford Road, travelling east towards the Felling Bypass.
DCI Mark Warcup of Gateshead Area Command said: “The digger is worth tens of thousands of pounds and I'm appealing for anyone with information about this incident or has seen a JCB with this registration to contact us.
