The Highways Agency will carry out the resurfacing work in two phases, using overnight road closures between 8pm and 6am. During the closures clearly signed diversion routes will be in place and for safety reasons a 50mph speed limit will be in operation during the day as there will be a temporary road surface.Phase one will take place from Tuesday 3 to Tuesday 10 May. A 1.2 mile (1.9 km) section of the northbound A1053 Greystones Road will be closed between the A174 and A1085. The western side of Greystones Roundabout will be closed, and a 4.2 mile (6.8 km) section of the eastbound A174 Parkway will be closed between the A172 and A1053.Phase two will take place from Friday 13 to Wednesday 18 May. A 1.2 mile (1.9 km) section of the southbound A1053 Greystones Road will be closed between the A174 and A1085. The eastern side of Greystones Roundabout will also be closed.End
