M1 northbound to M18 northbound link road resurfacing

Work will take place on the M1 northbound to M18 northbound link road between 21 February and 7 March. In order to minimise any disruption to driver the work will take place over night between 8pm and 6am.During the work it will be necessary to close the link road from the M1 northbound to the M18 northbound overnight. During the closure clearly signed diversion routes will be in place.During the night-time closures, northbound traffic will be diverted to Junction 33, where traffic will exit the motorway and rejoin the M1 southbound. Drivers will proceed to Junction 32, which is the junction with the northbound M18 and here drivers can join the M18 northbound.Highways Agency project manager, Andrew Jennings, said: “This work will improve the road surface for drivers. We ask that drivers take extra care when travelling along the diversion route.”End
