Police are appealing for witnesses following a burglary at a business premises in Wallsend.
The incident happened at Care UK on the ground floor in Northumbria House, Oceana Business Park in Wallsend. It took place over the weekend between 3.15pm on Saturday, September 17 and 9.20am on Monday, September 19. Thieves forced their way in and stole an undisclosed quantity of cash and left causing a small amount of damage.
Police are appealing for witnesses anyone who was in the area and who may have seen or heard anything suspicious is asked to contact police.
Any witnesses or anyone with information is asked to contact Northumbria Police on 03456 043 043 ext 69191 or ring the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
