Police are appealing for witnesses following a theft of a sat nav from a car in South Shields.
The incident happened in Eglesfield Road in South Shields at 7.35pm on Sunday, November 27. A man opened an insecure door on a Vauxhall Zafira and stole a sat nav from inside before making off.
He is described as a man white, 5 feet 10" tall, wearing blue shell suit trouser bottoms with Adidas stripes, a hat and a white top.
Police are appealing for witnesses anyone who was in the area and who may have seen or heard anything suspicious is asked to contact police.
Any witnesses or anyone with information is asked to contact Northumbria Police on 03456 043 043 ext 69191 or ring the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
