Police are appealing for information after a number of cars were damaged on a trading estate in Tweedmouth.
Between 12.20 - 1.20pm Sunday, February 7, someone entered the compound at the Tweedmouth service station and extensively damaged vehicles parked in the compound.
The offender is described as beingĀ white, 16-18 years, of average build and around 5'10 - 6 foot tall. Was wearing a black woollen hat and dark coloured tracksuit bottoms and top. He would have been injured and bleeding .
DC Keith Turnbull, from Berwick CID, said: "I'd appeal for anyone who was in the area around lunchtime on Sunday, February 7, and who may have seen someone behaving suspiciously around the service station to contact police with any information. I'd also ask for anyone who may have seen anyone or have any information about someone with suspicious blood injuries around the date this took place to get in touch."
Anyone with information is asked to contact police in Berwick on 03456 043 043 ext 69191 or the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
