Tesco petrol now at last year's prices - Further 2ppl cut helps millions of motorists

'Tesco today became the first retailer to offer petrol at prices
last seen more than a year ago. Britain's biggest petrol retailer
has today cut the price of all grades of fuel by 2ppl at the
majority of its 430 forecourts - the third cut in just over a week.
And with its national petrol promotion landing in stores today,
motorists can get a further 5p off per litre, taking prices for
unleaded petrol down to levels last seen more than a year ago. Add
to this Tesco's unique Clubcard saving of a penny for every pound
spent and motorists can fill up for less than 92ppl - a price last
seen in April 2007.
