Holly Willoughby has the most genuine smile in showbusiness, according to a poll.
The busty Dancing on Ice beauty, 27, who is famous for causing a stir on the show with her low-cut dresses, beat X Factor judge Cheryl Cole into second place.
Stunning Girls Aloud singer Cheryl has won an army of fans with her dazzling smile on the hit ITV talent show.
TV babe Tess Daly was third followed by This Morning host Fern Britton and pop princess Kylie Minogue.
Tess's husband, Radio 1 DJ and Family Fortunes presenter Vernon Kay, was named the bloke with the most genuine smile.
Geoff Beattie, psychologist and spokesman for The National Lottery which conducted the poll of 3,000 adults, said: ''The research found how powerful this simple gesture can be and how it can instantly improve people's mood.
''Part of the reason for this is that it is hard not to reciprocate a smile and when we return a smile, it affects our own internal mood state.
''The celebrities at the top of the poll all have an engaging and genuine smile which instantly puts people at ease and transmits a little bit of warmth and optimism to the audience.
''We also find ourselves smiling back at these celebrities unconsciously.  A little smile costs nothing but can make a big difference to someone's day.''
Second place in the man's list was Fern's co-host on This Morning Philip Schofield.
Loveable Schofield was once quoted as saying he and Fern could get away with anything a long as they 'said it with a smile'.
X Factor presenter Dermott O'Leary, Formula One superstar Lewis Hamilton and David 'Goldenballs' Beckham complete the top five.
Geoff Beattie added: ''Smiling is a simple and incredibly easy way to boost people's moods.  The effect it has is like passing on your good mood to someone else.
''If we all pledged to smile a little more each day it could boost the nation's mood no end.''
The poll revealed a whopping 89 per cent of respondents believe people should be more cheerful and make an effort to smile more often.
Twelve per cent of people admitted that giving others a genuine heartfelt smile makes them feel in control of a situation, whilst 81 per cent said it reflected their happiness and good mood.
Smiling with others makes 18 per cent of people feel beautiful, 15 per cent feel elated and 17 per cent feel loved.
And when on the receiving end of a smile, 37 per cent of people feel liked and accepted, two thirds of people feel happy and 21 per cent feel loved.
