Forthcoming road works and traffic management on the M69 in Leicestershire

The work which will include the renewal of road markings will be taking place southbound on the M69 between the M1 and junction 2 of the M69, and will be taking place overnight to minimise disruption to road users. When work is taking place, the stretch of southbound carriageway will be closed with signed diversions in place taking traffic via the M1 junction 20 at Lutterworth, the A4303 and the A5.Highways Agency project manager, Mark Braithwaite said: “This essential scheme is to renew road markings and studs along a seven mile stretch of the M69 in Leicestershire. All work has been scheduled to take place outside of peak hours, although we would still advise road users to plan their journeys accordingly.”For more information, motorists can contact the Highways Agency Information Line on 0300 123 5000.
