Highways Agency to undertake works to replace noise fencing on the M5 in the West Midlands

The works which will be undertaken between the hours of 10pm and 6am and 9am and 3.30pm are due to start on 27 February and will take around eight weeks to complete. During these times, the hard shoulder and inside lane between junctions 3 and 2 will be closed.Purnima Kaul, Highways Agency project manager, said: "This essential work will reduce the impact of our network on local residents and we have carefully planned the replacement work so as to keep disruption to a minimum.”For more information, motorists can contact the Highways Agency Information Line on 0300 123 5000.
