Police are appealing for witnesses after cash was stolen in a Newcastle burglary.
It happened around 1.55pm on Monday, August 1 when the offender tried to force the front door of a flat in Dunstanburgh Close in Byker, but then smashed a window, reached in and stole a teapot containing an amount of cash.
Any witnesses or anyone with information about the burglary is asked to contact police on 03456 043 043 ext 69191, or independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. Callers to Crimestoppers could be eligible for a cash reward.
