Police are appealing for information after the theft of birds from a Gateshead Allotment.
Between 6.50pm on Thursday, September 29, and 7.30am on Friday, September 30, five chicks and two Banty hens were stolen from a Blaydon Allotment on Derwenthaugh Road. A chicken hutch and wheelbarrow were also taken.
Anyone with any information into the theft is asked to contact Northumbria Police on 03456 043 043 ext 69191 or the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
