Police have arrested a man after the theft from a car in Newcastle.
It happened at 8.20pm on Tuesday, October 18 when the car, which was parked at Clayton Street in the city centre, was broken into and cash was stolen.
Police attended and a 23-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of theft from a motor vehicle. He's been bailed pending further enquiries.
