Highways Agency to undertake maintenance works on the M54 northbound at Junction 6

The work is expected to start on Monday 5 December and is scheduled to last 4 nights. Works will be carried out overnight between 8pm and 6am.The western side of the M54 junction 6 roundabout (A5223) will be closed each night from Junction 6 Ketley roundabout for the duration of the work and a diversion route will be clearly signposted.Highways Agency project manager, Mark Collins said: “This work is essential to maintain the structural integrity and durability of the bridge. It has been carefully planned to take place overnight when the roads are less busy to keep disruption to a minimum.“A clearly signed diversion route we will put in place and is designed to direct drivers who do not know the area onto the most suitable roads.“Motorists are advised to check their route before they travel and allow extra time for their journeys where needed.” More information about the work is available from the Highways Agency Information Line on telephone number 0300 123 5000
