Police are appealing for witnesses after an assault in a Newcastle nightclub.
It happened at around 12.40am on Tuesday, March 22 when a 19-year-old man was on the main ground floor dancefloor near the DJ stand in Digital, Times Square in Newcastle city centre.
He was punched in the face once by another man, resulting in the victim falling over and fracturing his ankle. He has received hospital treatment for his injuries.
A 29-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assault and has been bailed pending further enquiries into the incident. Police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
