Police are appealing for information after the theft of a generator from a garage in Gateshead.
Between 8am and 8.45pm on Monday, May 9 thieves broke into a garage - one of a block - in Movern Lea, Blaydon and stole a Honda generator worth around £300.
The generator is described as a red fuel tank on the top, encased in a black metal frame.
Due to its weight and size it would have required more than one person to carry it away.
Anyone with any information into the theft or the whereabouts of the generator is asked to contact Northumbria Police on 03456 043 043 ext 69191 or the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
