Police have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to following a burglary in North Tyneside.
Between 1.25pm and 2.25pm on Thursday June 23 a burglary took place at a home on Percy Avenue in Cullercoats.
Items taken included an Asus netbook, bird watching books, a pair of Swarovski binoculars and an unknown make of binoculars, four mobile phones including an iPhone and Samsung Galaxy and a small amount of money.
The burglar then walked a short distance from the house and boarded a metro train from Cullercoats Metro Station.
Police have today released a CCTV image of a man seen in the area at the time of the offence who officers are keen to speak to as he may have important information.
Officers are urging anyone who recognises this man or has any information about this offence to contact Northumbria Police, on 03456 043 043, or call independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. Callers to Crimestoppers may be eligible for a cash reward.
