Alnwick Market Place crash

A police investigation into the crash in Alnwick Market Place is continuing – with police keen to trace a man who may have been injured during the incident.
At shortly before 4.30pm on Thursday August 4 a Ford Cougar car with one elderly female occupant collided with a number of market stalls in Alnwick Market Place.
Police and paramedics attended the scene and a number of pedestrians were treated for serious but not life threatening injuries.
Officers have now identified nine people who received injuries and are keen to trace a tenth pedestrian, a man, who may also have been injured.
He is described as wearing a light coloured jacket with a black hood and light coloured trousers. He was also wearing black shoes and was carrying a green carrier back.
