Police are appealing for information following a bag snatch from a 59-year-old woman in Ashington.
At around 8pm on Monday, October 5, the woman was walking in the Blyth Terrace area of Ashington when she was approached from behind by two youths who stole her handbag.
The youths were wearing hooded tops with the hoods pulled over their heads and made off on bikes.
Anyone who was in the area at the time or anyone with information is asked to contact police Northumbria police on 03456 043 043 or the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
