Police are appealing for information after equipment was stolen from a works site in Hexham.
Between 12pm Sunday, January 30, and 9.30am Wednesday, February 2, thieves stole around 50 drilling rods and a battery from the site in the Whitley Chapel area.
The rods are around 3 metres in length and police believe who ever is responsible must have used a van or lorry to transport them.
Anyone with any information into the theft, or as to the whereabouts of the metal rods, is asked to contact police on 03456 043 043 ext 69191 or the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
