There will be a change to the A46 layout here in late October. Ongoing – A46 Newark to Widmerpool, widening the carriageway, Stragglethorpe junctionStart Date: June 2010 End Date: End October 2011Times: 24/7Traffic Management: Traffic is diverted via the new northbound entry and exit slip roads, and via the new western roundabout as appropriate. All traffic management is signed for road users. Owthorpe junction to Stragglethorpe junction traffic is being diverted off the old A46 onto a new section of carriageway. Access into Cotgrave is not possible via Colston Gate. This change allows work to the new bridge and side road to progress. On completion of the work direct access to the A46 will not be possible.
