Highways Agency to resurface A50 at Queensway roundabout

The work will start tonight and finish on Saturday 31 March. To minimise disruption to road users, all activity will take place overnight between 8pm and 6am. During the works the A50 at the Queensway roundabout will be closed overnight. Diversion routes will be clearly signposted.Purnima Kaul, Highways Agency project manager, said: "This essential work will improve driving conditions for motorists and prolong the life of the road. “The work has been carefully planned to keep disruption to a minimum but I would advise drivers to check conditions and leave extra time for their journeys if necessary.”For more information, motorists can contact the Highways Agency Information Line on 0300 123 5000.
