Police in Sunderland are appealing for a woman they believe may have witnessed an assault to contact them.
On January 23, at around 2.45am, a 30-year-old man was assaulted by two men inside Chilino's takeaway, in Albion Place.
Officers investigating the incident are keen to speak to a woman who was in the area at the time as she may be able to help identify those responsible.
