The works comprise six separate projects which are being delivered together to maximise value for money and minimise disruption for road users and local communities. The works are due to start on Monday 21 November and finish on 27 January. The works will involve full overnight closure of sections of the A43 from 21 November and 11 December. Temporary speed limits will be in place for the duration of the works. Diversion routes will be clearly signposted. All road works and the temporary speed limits will be lifted over the Christmas holiday period to minimise disruption to motorists.Mark Braithwaite, Highways Agency project sponsor, said:"Sections of the carriageway have deteriorated and are in need of repair, so this essential work will improve driving conditions for motorists. The work has been carefully planned to keep disruption to a minimum. However, we do advise drivers to check conditions and leave extra time for their journeys if necessary."“For more information, motorists can contact the Highways Agency Information Line on 0300 123 5000.”
